Is there any special training for substitutes?

The district does not offer training for our substitutes at this time.  Some of the area colleges offer training, but it is not affiliated with the Lee's Summit R-7 School District. The Office of Human Resources does, however, request that all substitutes new to the district preview a substitute teacher orientation video.  Substitutes should arrange to preview the orientation video prior to substituting.
