Ridge Academy, formerly known as the Lee’s Summit Alternative
School, is located in a facility which opened in fall 2004.
The school building was funded by the 2002 voter-approved
bond issue, and it replaces a smaller facility formerly located
on the LSHS campus. Summit Ridge Academy opened in 1997 at
its original location and currently serves students from
seventh through 12 th grades who need an alternative learning
environment to be successful. |
