Lee's Summit
School District School Nutrition Services Department
feeds approximately 17,000 students in our school nutrition services
program. Our organization is staffed with 175 food service workers, 24
cafeteria managers and 6 clerical and administrative staff persons.
School meals are planned to reflect the Dietary Guidelines for Americans
and student preferences as determined at Nutrition Council.
We strive to provide a nutritious breakfast and lunch for all students at
an affordable cost. We encourage children to develop good eating habits
and provide a colorful, friendly, setting for students to eat their
meals. Menus are published monthly on this site.
