Current state statute requires that school districts
make up any days missed according to state regulations. On
early release days, lunches are served in elementary
schools but not in middle schools and high schools.

On all Wednesdays throughout the school year, with the exception of the first day of school (Aug. 15) and the Oct. 17 parent conferences day, school will begin one hour late. On these late-start Wednesdays, school buses will also run one hour later than normal.
Breakfast will continue to be served on Wednesdays, also one hour later than usual.
